The Innovate UNCG Incubator supports members of the UNCG community as they turn ideas into impact. Bringing together a variety of offices, initiatives, and sources of expertise, we offer support related to entrepreneurship, social innovation and social entrepreneurship, IP protection, licensing, and more. North Carolina Entrepreneurship Center

NCEC, a center operating under the Innovate UNCG umbrella, spearheads and sponsors initiatives to help innovative people create and expand their entrepreneurial opportunities. We define entrepreneurship very broadly, supporting individuals – on and off campus – whether they are starting a business, working for others, or pursuing a career in non-profit, government, or educational institutions. Entrepreneurs come from everywhere, and we support students, faculty, staff and community members from all backgrounds.

Innovation Partnership Services Office

IPSO, an office within Innovate UNCG, is responsible for the various agreements integral to scholarly partnerships, collaborations, and commercialization, such as non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), material transfer agreements (MTAs), and intellectual property clauses in sponsored research agreements.

All scholars, even those unsure about their projects’ commercialization possibilities, are encouraged to reach out to Innovate UNCG to access our resources, guidance, and support.
